Can someone tell me where to find frostpaw? I spent 2 hours circling dagger island, checking every cave for him. Thanks

He spawns in the Frost Spider cave on NE Dagger Island

Thanks. Not sure how to tame him, people are in that cave with blade spirits 24/7

I spent all last evening trying to get him. The long spawn times on Frostpaw and Thunderhoof are kind of ridiculous. I guess the idea is for these to be semi rare pets. From what I get they spawn every 4-5 hours or so.
The spiders and webs are not up all the time so the cave has less active times. Your main issue is competing with tamers over the bear.
I fortunately I had today off and was able to wait out all the competition who had to log out for work and such and just a few minutes after 5AM it spawned and I grabbed it.
I had been waiting since 3AM. >.>
