Need help with Mage quest Please

I'm doing something very very wrong and need help. My mage is at 80 skill, doing the quest, The Secret Room. In Deceit.

Can get to a room, ( I thought was the secret room) you must trip the lever north of the small room, there are two chest to unlock in this room, there is a "skull/face" that appears on north wall that when you click on it, you hear a door unlock.

What do I do then? All it tells me is to go South. Totally lost at this point.

(A person tried to help me today, they thought there was a tele/trap that should appear on the floor, but nothing.)

Any help much appreciated.

Must say the players are always eager to help others, and it is appreciated. Very much. I had a G instead of a Q and couldn't remember the quest from beta.

Tip for others looking to place houses. You can place in any of the three town areas, you may need to pay a 10K fee for a town not in your class. I wanted Skara for the scenery, so had my crafter on that account place the house. Crafter can do the monthly upkeeps by doing BODs. With vendor search you can vendor anywhere.

Totally love the new way to skill.
