I don't think the average UO player is going to like a wipe, even tho seasons is popular in other MMOs.
At least they are taking feedback into consideration. Many times wrongly IMO. They let the 2 players who had the best items and probably made the most gold in beta talk them into reducing mob gold, while the rest of us had 50k for working at it daily.

I know the one I saw killing WWs in 10 seconds each was not from Atlantic. Took me minutes to kill 1 with deaths involved. I was there loring them to see the max str. I think we’ll just have to disagree about how easy gold was to farm on NL. With a 100% fire Vanq Scalebane repeating crossbow, it only takes 7-8 shots to kill a white wyrm. Disco, target wyrm, attack nearest hostile macro. Then it’s only 12 seconds to kill.
I wasn’t even trying that hard and only using one account. I consider myself a very casual player. If I can make 110 k an hour, I am certain more serious players can make more.
I suggested decreasing higher end monster gold. This would give the gold that players loot from orcs and ettins more buying power. Hopefully that’s how it ends up working in practice.
