Hello UO Team,

i am a warrior and i have all combat skills on 70 (see pic below). Now i try to raise skills higher as 70, but it doesn't work. I can make daily quests. And i have 700 Skill points available. But i can't do the skills higher by the skill trainer in Trinsic.

Visit your guild master, once you hit 70 you need to follow the next chapter of the story line before you can use those skill points.
That will also supply you with better equipment to use in the town jobs.

Just to check the you've tried to allocate the points you want to use.
You need to press these keys
Then confirm/ weiter and after that you get one more confirm box.

Open quest log, find that quest that ask u to skill up to 70 % press visit and follow system massages, they will guide u where u need to go.

Hey Garret.

Thanks for helping. With "quest log" you mean the button in Paperdoll called "Quests" or ?
I have only two daily quests open (see screenshot)

I'm sorry, I don't see the screen shot of your guildmaster, only the skill trainer.

Okay, thank you very much for your help. But i thought Mariah will see a screenshot from the guild master and not the skill trainer.

This is a screenshot from the skill trainer you showed me:

Yep, that is the one i am currently using in trinsic. Were they able to help you?

It sounds like you may have failed one of the defend objectives for the warrior and just need to restart it. Do you remember defending either of the bridges in Trinsic? Try using the Workbench in the building near the south bridge and see if it gives you the objective:

If that doesn't work, try using the Defensive Supplies near the east bridge:

Pretty sure this is where you are stuck.

Yes notice his quests.  He has not done the quests to defend the city.  He does not have the visit grandmaster quest.

A lot of players are going give up trying to figure this out, aren't they? Miss one quest and now they have no idea how to proceed? Seems like poor game design that somehow needs to be corrected, maybe with some kind of warning or reminder?

Nope, only player stuck at this spot. He probably advanced a few minutes after posting.  Plenty of questions asked and answered in chat.

Still, I'm holding to my critique. Remember, those playing now are paying customers, mostly experienced UO players. Expect a lot more of these situations - and resulting frustration - when new players try out New Legacy.
I made the same suggestion for the Occlo Emissary right outside the moongate. It's too easy to miss her and wander around town wondering why you can't get any quest objectives. She should blink like other quest givers or cry out a greeting or something.
