Do GMs no longer reset PBDs after a transfer?

I while back transferred with a PBD on a weapon and as usual, it won't let me remove it. In the past GMs have taken care of it for me but today after I paged to have it taken care of, they replied that it wasn't a service they provide.

Has there been an unannounced policy change on this matter?

No but they will often work when you go back.

I doubt there ever was a written policy on those.

Since you can get them from IDOCs I'm sure players made a toon with the name and claimed it was theirs.
