It looks like your weighting change works pretty good.
Here is 2 shards of two trees.
Most of my toons are neg Karma so I get Red gifts on these.

Lots of Blankets and Stained Glass!

I didn't do any other shard this year like I usually do, I just focused on Origin. 3 trees in so far, 3 accounts and I got all of the new rewards this year so either the RNG REALLY loves me this year, or they set the chance to get the newer items higher.

Love the Red Skull stained glass this year 🙂 Have 5-6 so far, hope my Necro tree runners get a few more before it ends!
