What is the proper way to apply for township status? Is it still a thing? Can we still apply?

Any help would be appriciated!

Dont you have to donate or something ? lol

Not that I am aware of. All you have to do is have enough houses in one area owned by the same guild all with the guild name or abbreviation on the house sign and some other stuff that I need to know...it's why I am asking lol.

Isn't it the same process as applying for a player memorial...

My understanding is that this program is dead, one of several "this is why we can't have nice things" moments.

E-Mail your shard's EMs to be closer to certain.

Of course if the point is "we have a community here" then any kind of official recognition is inessential.

IIRC you just applied through the EM program and then had to prove you had multiple people in the same area. then Mesanna (once approved) would ask you to give a design for a "town Stone" and she would build it. Not sure it happens anymore but would not hurt to start with our EM.

Well Rainstormer did say we could but he had no other information. I searched online and all I could find was this thread

From back in 2019. I thought there would be a more *official* something or other but I guess this works as long as it's still viable.

With the moving of the memorials and this township thing being kind of tied in with that, I wasn't sure Mesanna was still willing to do the township thing.

I did e-mail her many months ago about my home, though I didn't place it myself, it was given to me by my old *Boss* on Stratics, Ghostwriter for those of you who've been around long enough to remember him lol.

The house is only 13 years old, but the rules are for it to be a historical house it has to be at least 10 years old, and I am not planning on moving.  Haven't heard back from her so I don't know about all these special things, if they are still allowed or not.
