Reforging Question

When reforging an item, if you get "Durability +100%", does that property disappear when you imbue it?

Since you PoF to 255, isn't that a wasted property? So, if it does not disappear with imbuing is that reforged piece pretty much worthless?

I know if you reforge and get the "Self-Repair" property, it will disappear as soon as you imbue the first property. I was wondering if the "Durability +XX%" works the same way?

Thanks for your time.

Wasted property.

Nope. And counts as a property.

Ok thanks!

“Some background
brittle items used to be 75 durability, and so items would spawn with a useful durability bonus which would increase durability.

however the player focus grouped erroneously thought that brittle items suffered from increased durability loss over non brittle items and complained about the low durability so Mesanna changed it to 255, when increasing it to 100 would’ve sufficed.

Since then players realised brittle items will last forever and the power creep was never restored, brittle items remain to this day ever lasting at 255 dura without a durability bonus needed, (with the exception of splintering weapons which do suffer an increased durability loss)”

Thanks for the info, Yoshi. Appreciate it.

@LilyGrace - the mod you are thinking of is Self repair. That is the only property that will "fall off" when imbued.

They already mentioned that in their first post.

Yeah, I was wondering if the + to durability might work the same way. Wish it did.  :o(

You mean getting angry when someone posted garbage like brittle weapons are everlasting and they used example of players bank sitting to prove brittle - wow - last forever?

What are u promoting, falsehood?

This is still a Lie and brittle is not everlasting.

Actually Brittle items (when the durability started at 75/75) Did lose durability faster than non-brittle items.

In fact, you can still test it if you have any pre-patch brittle items lying around.

When brittle was changed to 255/255 it essentially became "imbued" with the only differences being, you find these items with properties already on them, and often they exceed the intensity & property limit to that of imbued items.

X% Durability, counts against you when imbuing
X% Lower Requirements, counts against you when imbuing
and should be removed from magic item loot & reforging altogether.  (I've said this before)

They would still appear after enhancing items with specific materials or on certain static artifacts.
