What use is there (if any), for these Fish Steaks ?

I am talking of these described in the picture below at this Link https://uo.com/wiki/ultima-online-wiki/gameplay/quests/bigglesbys-bounty-quests/

Of which, those mentioned at that Link (Smoked Cod, Dried Tuna, Salted Snapper, Salted Herring, Spiced Salmon) are only a few because, so far, I counted some 57 different types of Fish Steaks and am not sure if there is more...

My thinking is, that if the Developers took so much effort to make so many of these particular Fish Steaks, probably there is some particular use for them ?

So far, though, I tried looking if they were good as Quest items, or whether they could be used to create something that provides buffs, or whether they could be used for Turn in Points.... but I could not find any practical, usefull use for them, other then eating them...

But, I would very much surprised to learn that some 57 and perhaps more different Fish steaks had been created just as something which players' characters could eat when, as we know, hardly any character in the game feeds him/herself....

Perhaps a use for all of these Fish Steaks was "planned" but never was Designed ?

If so, @Kyronix, would it be possible to finally see all of these Fish Steaks be put to some good and usefull use ?

I have a feeling you came across a bugged chest that had 50 different ones in it.

If you actually scuttled enough ships to get all of those a few at a time then I am impressed!



I am missing Cured Hake. Cured, Pickled, Spiced  Swordfish.

These are items you have to grab.  If you don't want them don't grab them.

Rarest seem to be some versions of the Hake, Swordfish and Monkfish and the Spiced one seems to be rarest in almost all types.  I thought it was fun collecting them when I was doing a lot of sea fun but with no more new stuff it made me lose interest I guess. sad
